Local Chapters are the heartbeat of the Autism Society of Washington.
These locally based organizations build connections in their communities and advance ASW’s mission to “improve the lives of people affected by autism.” Local chapters and groups are the best source of outreach support and engagement at the human level; they provide referrals and advocacy, facilitate educational opportunities, and unite families, educators and other professionals in their region. In this way, local chapters are central to creating safe and inclusive communities for individuals with autism.
